Dear Sir
I am interested in working at your school. I am an Australian and
I am currently in Taipei looking for work. I arrived on Friday and am staying
in Amigo Hostel.
I have a degree in mathematics, followed by an Honour's degree and
then a Master's degree. I have also done a degree in Adult Literacy and
Numeracy and I have done the 4 week TESOL degree.'
I have taught English in China, South Korea, Indonesia and
Australia. I have about 4 years experience teaching English. Before I started
teaching English, I was teaching mathematics. In Indonesia, I was teaching IT.
My preference is for a 1 year contract.
I enjoy teaching children. I was teaching children in China and
South Korea. I have also spent many hours with children, both as a volunteer
and teaching.
I am currently in Taipei and can start immediately, or go for an
interview. My phone number is: 2929-7583.
I have attached my resume, however, I have a complete website with
my resume, photo, degrees, references and even a copy of my passport. You can
find the details at:

I am very interested in teaching writing. I was teaching some
students in Australia about sentence construction and trying to get them to use
more conjunctives. I also have tried writing many books.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
Les Webb.
Dear
. . . .,
If
you want an intelligent foreigner who loves playing with children and enjoys
teaching them, then I'm your man. If you want someone with stamina and
endurance, then you can select me.
Intelligent?
I took an IQ test
and the result surprised me. I have a degree in pure mathematics, followed by
an honours degree, even followed by a Master's degree in pure mathematics. I
have two certificates in Adult Literacy and I have even done the TEFL degree.
The
students in Indonesia gave me the nickname "Professor", because I looked
like one.
Playing
with children? I have spent most of my life teaching and looking after
children. I was a volunteer at a childcare centre. I have taught children in
China, South Korea, Indonesia and Australia. A Chinese English teacher wrote an article about me for the local paper. I
was teaching grade 1 and 2.
Chinese
students don't learn as much English when they are young, hence the class were
beginners. I was teaching "?want . . . . ", including "?want
up", and I would lift them up. Followed by "I want
up-side-down", and I would turn them up-side-down.
Endurance?
One of my hobbies is climbing mountains, I can outlast most people younger than
me. I also started "long distance" bike riding. Riding about 150 kms
in one hit.
I
know a lot about computers and have my own website with my resume, photo,
degrees, references and even a copy of my passport. You can find the details
at:

Of course, if you want a young, bubbly female, then don't call me.
Hope to hear from you soon.
